Bob Evans is always a stop for my family, we normally like it. But this location was disgusting. Very dirty. Everything was dirt buildup and sticky. Can only imagine what the kitchen looked like

This is my first time eating at Bob Evans and the food is pretty good I really enjoyed their sunrise hamburger because it had like hash Browns and stuff on it but it also had a fried egg and I enjoyed that.. Best part it's right next to the TA truck stop and that makes it even better for me

The Saga at Bob Evans
We walked in and stood there for about 45 seconds without being greeted. There were two employees over at the register/to-go section just chatting away. I quickly noticed it wasn’t crowded for it to be 10:40 on a Sunday morning. That should have been a warning. Another waitress came over to the hostess stand and asked one of the chit chatters, “Are you on break?” It was only at that point that she came over to the hostess stand. This employee looked at the laminated seating chart and was looking around, so I spoke up and said, “Hello! Good morning!” To which she replied with a flat “Good morning.” She took us to a section away from all other guests and seated us next to a table for four that hadn’t been cleared of the previous diners’ dirty plates. (FYI - The table was still like that when we left 30 minutes later.) Our waitress came to our table in a reasonable amount of time to take our drink order. My husband called her by the name on her name tag and asked how her day was going. She said, “It’s going good.” I ordered coffee and my husband ordered water with no ice. Our waitress comes back timely with my coffee and a glass of ice water. I add my cream and sugar. The coffee is old and bitter; it had clearly been sitting. We sat there for a while as our waitress took other orders. My husband called her over as she was walking by and said cheerfully, “May I have water with no ice please?” “Oh sure. No ice.” She comes back with the water with no ice and asks if we’re ready to order. I asked her what her favorite dinner meal is and shared, “Steak tips.” “And what about breakfast? What’s your favorite breakfast meal?” I added. Surprisingly, she also said “steak tips”! We place our orders and off she goes. My husband and I sit there doing a bit of chit-chatting ourselves when he notices that the guests who arrived after us were brought their food. Huh? We are looking around now trying to understand what is occurring at this Bob Evans! That’s when Sally comes into the picture. Sally, a waitress, sees us and just comes and starts talking. She explained her name isn’t really Sally, she only put that on her name tag because she was wearing the bandanna that Sally in “The Nightmare Before Christmas” wore. That was cute. Sally asks me if I want more coffee. I finish the bitter old coffee in the hopes that a fresh pot was made. Sally was very attentive and seemed interested in providing service. We ended up waiting some more. Sally comes back and says, “She’ll be right out with your coffee. They’re making a fresh pot.” “Okay” The original waitress comes back with the coffee and fills it so high there’s no room to pour cream. My husband asks, “Excuse me. They came in after us and they already have their food. Where’s our food?” Her reply was, “Oh! There are two different sides in the kitchen and the cook is training a new cook. But your food is ready.” She leaves to go get it. I pick up the mug of “freshly” made coffee and it’s warm to the touch - not hot. This was not just made. It was also old and bitter.l just like the first cup. The food was ok but not hot. Sally came back over and struck up a conversation about Comicon. Sally with the headband was about the only thing good about breakfast at Bob Evans today. We like Sally.

When I was ordering my food I was asking a simple question about my drink that I forgot to get yesterday. The girl taking my order (Reagan) was awesome and sweet but the manager Karen was really being a Karen. Reagan was trying to ask Karen about my drink and at first Karen ignored her then she tried to ask again and Karen threw her hand up at Reagan's face then she proceeded to fuss at her and telling her to just cash me out. All Reagan was trying to do is to make sure I was owed a drink and all Karen had to do was say yes I spoke to him already. That would've been it but no she had to show her true colors.....

Waiting over 15 minutes to be seated because the hostess was also the regester lady.
Another 10 minutes to order food. After receiving our coffee... no sugar around !! So why offer it without making us aware of the fact ?
Food arrived... order was incorrect for everyone at the table !! Restaurant was at 15% capacity, maybe less.
I should have gone to the Waffle House !!
