I heard about this establishment from watching the beat Bobby Flay episode where Mike the owner had beat Flay with his meatball sub and decided we had to go check this place out and those meatballs were better than I could have imagined. The service and atmosphere were top notch and the owner even came out to say hello. The food was absolutely phenomenal! My friend had the meatball sub and I had the Salmon.....both were excellent. If anyone is near this place they need to stop in.

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant! I highly recommend! The food was outstanding! We have been to Italy, and I must say this reminded me of our many favorite dishes! The Squid infused pasta is quite interesting and delish!

To go or not to go: Go Go and Go!. Try the deliciously delicious meatballs that beat Bobby Flay!!! And that’s just an appetizer. The bread, the risotto, the rustic bolognese, the veal it’s all so perfectly cooked. My blueberry bread pudding with blueberry gelato was exquisite. The service is pristine. We brought our own bottles of wine so don’t forget to byob if you like. There’s an outside pizza bar outside the restaurant which is so fun also. The Channelside area of downtown Tampa is such a wonderful, walkable area. We had the good fortune of talking to the owner and Chef Michael (who beat Bobby Flay) which is such a treat. I f you love and miss smaller, neighborhood restaurants this is the place for you. Make reservations for the weekends. We will walk over again very soon.

Don't know why this place has such rave reviews. It's so average. Price is good for what you get. Red wine risotto was meh - the wine wasn't cooked off enough, too much. The steak was overcooked and tough. On wagyu. The meatballs were okay, but the sauce DROWNED the mushy pasta. No complexity in flavors. Mid. Tourist food. Dessert was delicious.
