Been coming here for over 20 years. Food is always good. However what made this visit a 5 star was the amazing service by Olivia. Her attitude absolutely rocks. I eat out everyday, wish every restaurant had an Olivia. She is truly a superstar! Thanks so much Olivia. Hector Santana
Bartender was really cool and efficient. She made sure we were taken care of promptly upon sitting, and even suggested a better option than what I had in mind for my entree. I was even happier with what she suggested than with what I would have ordered. I’m not a meat eater so I tend to have limited options when eating out. She was rocking the whole bar side of the restaurant. You can tell she’s great at her job not just in my service, but witnessing her service to others. I definitely wouldn’t have the patience to listen to conspiracy theories spewed at me by bar guests 😂. But seriously, she was great! Will be back. Unfortunately don’t remember her name but it was whoever worked Wednesday the 15th of November at night :)
Our waiter was awesome, fast, efficient and engaging. We missed his name but it was table 36 at 2:20pm. Our food was great. Came out quickly and hot. The Black beans lacked a tiny bit of seasoning but overall our food was great. We filled up quick so we didn't stay long but the waiter was happy to grab us some to go plates. Thanks. The main reason for the star missing was that our cups of water didn't look very clean however our waiter quickly apologized and grabbed us some to-go cups as requested. We ordered the Chips and Dip, Fried Pickles, Chicken Fajita lunch special, and the Ranchero Chicken Tacos.
Is Chilis a family restaurant or a bar/ club? Does it say adults only on the sign? I didn’t think so. I have been coming to this chilis since i was a little girl, never have i ever had a problem coming to this location. That has all changed tonight. We came to have dinner around 6:30 p.m. with our two year old and freshly ONE year old everything was going good we sat down ordered our drinks perfect service so far. Our son only speaks a few words other then that he finds other ways to express himself. About half way through our meal the bar tender comes over (whom we’ve had problems with in the past) looking at my children saying “who do i need to come fight”. um excuse me, she then began to sit down at our table and touch our children when telling us someone that the bar wants to leave because of my infant screaming and telling my ONE year old to be quiet. We are regular customers and have never experienced this problem before when bringing our son. It was inappropriate and disrespectful to remotely talk that way to my child/children. You have no idea if my son had autism or some other kind of disability, she needs to be fired! Joke or not telling a small child and their parents that you want to fight them is unacceptable! We will not be back any time soon. And for the people with small children that are vocal i would just find another place to eat.
They seemed short staffed when I was there. Sadly, that is starting to seem a lot like the norm for lots of places these days. They got me taken care of tho and the burger was delicious. They have a $10 lunch menu I ordered from so the price was pretty good too, which I don't ever find myself saying anymore. $10 plus any drinks. We had 2 of the $10 lunch combos and 4 draft beers and the total was $33. I'll stop by for lunch there again.
