This place is extremely shady and unethical. If you are thinking of going here for the first time, I would highly recommend you look somewhere else. They have been fraudulently manipulating dental bills that pertain to the insurance, possibly non insurance bills, as well.
I have been trying to settle a small bill for the past few months, and they keep giving me the run around. They have admitted they made a mistake and that they are at fault but are refusing to correct it. They send me harassing text messages stating that I owe them money. I have spent hours on hold and on the phone with them, trying to resolve there mistake.
They will charge you for something you never received, hoping you don't notice and just pay it. I am amazed that they are still in business. A representative from coastal dental has even told me that they fired the entire staff at this location for similar fraudulent reasons.
If I can get this resolved by the end of the year, I will have to take them to small claims court. They have even asked me to give them a 5 star review before performing any work to reduce the amount of the bill. It really is unbelievable that these places still exist.
I am not one to write reviews like this, but if it even helps one person from the headache I've been dealing with, I'll feel a bit better. I'm sure there are a few good apples within the company, but the people I have been dealing with are straight criminals and should be charged accordingly
If anyone else has been experiencing the same things I have, please reach out to me. There may be a class action lawsuit if enough people were scammed as I was.

I really like the way they are available quickly for any appointments, i got appointment for my FIL in less than an hour on the same day and they let me reschedule it with a different time with just one call. I would definitely recommend if you need any urgent care for dental

I am very happy with the entire staff, especially my dentist, Dr. Leroy! I was impressed from day one. She was a fantastic professional, and my teeth looked beautiful and comfortable. Thank you to the entire staff for the great service! I would definitely recommend Bloomingdale Coast Dental in Brandon!

I had the MOST SPECTACULAR day ever! My appointment was on October 7, 2024, and from 8:00 am until 10:30 am everything needed to be done was accomplished! Within that time frame, I was greeted amicably as I was when I first visited the Coast Dental in Bloomingdale for the consultation and work to be done in my mouth. Then, after a short wait in the waiting area, I was escorted to get a deep cleaning, a filling, and then fitted for a crown. The staff was fantastically sympathetic and the service provided was phenomenal!
Daria, the hygienist, was 'my angel in disguise.' She literally guided me through every step of the way as to what was being done for my cleaning. I was anticipating some kind of trauma, but before I knew it, the job was done.
Shortly after, I got my cracked tooth fitted for a crown by the greatest duet ever! The work done by Dr. Lee Loy and her assistant, Cierra, was like watching a symphony. Dr. Lee Loy would do a performance on my tooth using her instruments and somehow communicate with Cierra through visual cues as with a baton, for the next move. This symphony went on melodiously with the duet until the work in my tooth was done. Lastly, I was asked to rest. While doing so, I was completely immersed in watching the show in my mind's eye, fully taking in the details of what just took place and enjoying the experience without any distraction.
Then, the time came for me to leave, and I was asked, yet again from the friendly and loving staff, if I was ok. It was bittersweet to leave for I had never experienced such warm-heartedness in a while much less at a dentist appointment.

Originally gave a 5 star because the staff was nice and service was affordable with payment plans as an option.
Went in as a new patient and got the x ray done, they said I had to remove one of my wisdom teeth, I told them I would set it up with them in the next visits.
1) First thing I had done was a filling for a cavity I had. The cavity was deep, but I never had any sensitivity whatsoever. Since they put the filling in now I get almost unbearable pain when eating hot food or drinking cold or even room temperature drinks.
2) I also later tried to setup up everything for the wisdom teeth removal, but when I called they said they enter everything manually and they wrote down that I have them all removed already lol, so they couldn’t tell me which one I had to have removed.
So I now have to go to a different dentist and have the filling fixed and the x rays done again.
3) * I also had a deep cleaning done here, but to this day I’m skeptical on the job done. I didn’t really get numbed enough and could still feel my gums and part of my teeth. The dentist tried to go under my gums once and it hurt and she didn’t try again. It felt like she did a regular cleaning, I asked after if she got under the gums, she just nodded yes and that was that. Don’t have much to back up this last once, but those are the 3 main issues I had here.
