I love how personal my dentist is. And I especially appreciate her explaining what she is doing and how long things will take to complete during procedures. The communication with the staff about appointment times and reminders is also excellent. When I recently had a problem on a Saturday morning, my dentist responded quickly and took time out of her day to make a quick repair before I had to leave on a trip out of town. I highly recommend this practice.
Never in my life would I think I’d be writing a review for a dentist company. I would highly discourage prospect clients from seeing Ferrara Dental and advise any current clients to seek elsewhere. As a new client, I was heading in to get X-rays and a dental exam. Like some, I get pretty anxious when it comes to the dentist. I had let the front desk know that I was nervous and the office let me know that it wouldn’t be an issue. That many people come in nervous and that they have other solutions such as nitrogen gas that could help ease the anxiety. Their machines for the X Rays weren’t working and it took roughly three hours to get simple X-Rays. I would have left however I was so disoriented on the nitrogen that at the time it seemed better to stay. Finally after getting the X-rays the “head dentist” asks about the “consent form & payment for the nitrogen”. The assistant said that she had forgotten and the had dentist made it clear that it was important for clients to be aware of the cost and the risks of using nitrogen. (Since I had no idea it costs extra). Not only did they have me sign the forms without being in the right state of mind, but they had the audacity to charge me for it without being aware of the price After seeking services with a different dentist, they had informed me that the X-Rays that were originally taken weren’t usable. I ended up calling Ferrara to explain the situation, frustration, and ask for a refund. The front desk person was polite and said that she would speak with the head dentist and look into the situation. A week went by and nothing. I called, left messages, I think they ended up blocking my number. A few weeks later I did get my refund check in the mail. Point is, the practices that they use are unethical and should definitely be called into question. Accountability should be in place when working with clients. I'm glad I received a refund, but when it comes down to it, that situation should have never happened in the first place.
The people at Ferrara are amazing and friendly. My only complaint is I hate your computer programs used to manage patient data. Not well designed or intuitive
Loved the new hygienist-been coming here for years. If you don’t like going to the dentist you might want to try dr Ferrara and her team. Great energy atmosphere
I’m so happy I found Ferrara Dental! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I tend to get anxious at the dentist but not here. I feel comfortable, supported, and know I can trust them to take care of my teeth. Dr Ferrara has to be the nicest dentist ever and Mrs Penny is so welcoming I’m so glad she was the first person I sat down with. Shout out to Susanna for taking care of my teeth and helping me understand my dental plan with ease. I would recommend this practice to anyone!
