Omgggggg. This restaurant is beyond what I ever imagined. I pictured southern cuisine with a few salads here and there, their famous waffles and fried chicken etc. but boy was I in for a major surprise when my dinner showed up, packed with creativity, bursting of enormous flavors, and served with love. On a cold Sarasota night, I ordered fried chicken fried rice, the best fried rice you’d ever have! What made this dish unique was the layer of omelette which was sandwiched between the fried rice and lg pieces of fried chicken, topped with scallions and red cabbage. This restaurant is a culinary delight. The staff is so humble and kind. I can’t wait to get back to try their other offerings. Only downside is that the indoor seating area is somewhat small, but there is a large outdoor eating area, perfect for the Florida weather.

Fork is an absolute gem! Their chicken sandwich was perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavorful, while the burger was a solid 10/10—easily one of the best I’ve had. I loved their creative use of piccata bread instead of a traditional hamburger bun, which added a unique and delicious twist. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. Highly recommend Fork if you’re looking for amazing food and top-notch service!

We have eaten at every restaurant that has 4.7 stars and above in Sarasota, Florida this week and by far, Fork and Hen is the absolute best! Do NOT skip the cheesecake, The one we had was made with fresh local mango and it was absolutely incredible. I ate the Bangkok Thai salad with grilled chicken and my son had fried chicken and we also ordered mac and cheese, every single thing was gorgeous and delicious! Our server was lovely and we don't want to leave, we like it here so much that we are writing our review while we're still sitting at the table :-)

The food is great! We luckily got there during a lull, sat inside and were able to get a table. I think only about a dozen or 16 seats are available inside. There is outside seating that probably doubles occupancy. The fried chicken is really tasty and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Decor and music inside were nice!

We stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant while visiting Sarasota. I’m from Houston. Texas so it’s difficult to impress me with food. We have some of the best eclectic as well as fine dining restaurants. Fork & Hen is on par for sure. We tried the Blue Plate fried chicken, chicken & waffles, the falafel appetizers & iced tea.. Everything was amazing. All the food and sauces are from scratch & you can taste it! I love the added touch of the homemade pickles to these dishes. Can’t wait to come back & try something else when I’ll be there in October.
