Fried chicken is gorgeous, crispy, moist and tender. They use it in a number of meals (as an add on for an abundant Mac and Cheese, as well as with Chicken and Waffles and a number of other things. Two of our party had sandwiches (shown in our pics) that were amazing —The crispy chicken sandwich and the step brothers burger.
The falafel hush puppies were excellent! A creative take on two traditional foods.
Sitting outside was beautiful on a March afternoon.

Love the atmosphere and the large portions. Best hole in the wall restaurant in Sarasota. Love the fries. Chicken sandwich a little dry. Ribs special was delicious but needed more sauce. Everything made from scratch. Great talent in the kitchen for sure. Can’t wait to come back for more.

Would drive hours out of my way to eat here! Absolutely the best fried rice we’ve ever enjoyed! Chicken sandwich and fries also amazing! Service is attentive and super friendly and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Would give them more than 5 starts if possible!

Wow, wow, wow! My wife and I stopped in for lunch yesterday and were blown away by the delicious, creatively presented dishes. I had the Stepbrother smashed burger and she had the Tuna Poke Bowl. My smash burger was unbelievable and so delectable! Best ever! My wife’s Poke bowl was spectacular.
We will be back to Fork & Hen again and again! Service was excellent as well😃

This is currently our favorite restaurant in Sarasota. The menu rotates, but everything we had was incredible. The drop biscuits crab Rangoon is probably one of the best appetizers I've had at a restaurant in a long time! The chicken and burgers are also delicious. Highly recommended!
