Green Land Restaurant is excellent in preparing barbecue. Orders include mixed grill, meat kebab, chicken shish, meat awsal... What I liked most was the meat awsal, it was very tender. We ordered hummus shawarma with meat. The best hummus you will get, the sessions are many and wide, but I did not like the smell of the place mixed with detergents and smoke.

I ordered 6 chicken shawarma sandwiches and usually they are really good, normally some of the best in the Tampa, however yesterday they were made with wheat bread that was very dry and old and this totally ruined the chicken shawarma sandwiches. these were probably the worst chicken shawarma we have ever had. If you don’t have the proper bread, you should let the customers know this ahead of time, don’t expect to return any time soon.

If you want fresh Halal Arabic food. Green Land Restaurant has you covered. I suggest the the lamb shank special, side of lentil soup, yogurt and onions. Delicious Arabic combination. Enjoy.

A Sweet Oasis of Delightful Desserts!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Green Land Mediterranean Restaurant in Temple Terrace, and I must say, their desserts left me absolutely delighted! Among the array of treats, the kunafah with Qeshtah (cream) was an absolute standout.
The kunafah was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The delicate layers of pastry provided a satisfying contrast through the balance of sweet and savory, and I found myself savoring every moment.
What truly impressed me was the authenticity and attention to detail that Green Land Mediterranean Restaurant brought to this dessert. The kunafah was clearly crafted with care and passion, and it truly transported me to the heart of Mediterranean culinary traditions.
