A Sweet Oasis of Delightful Desserts!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Green Land Mediterranean Restaurant in Temple Terrace, and I must say, their desserts left me absolutely delighted! Among the array of treats, the kunafah with Qeshtah (cream) was an absolute standout.
The kunafah was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The delicate layers of pastry provided a satisfying contrast through the balance of sweet and savory, and I found myself savoring every moment.
What truly impressed me was the authenticity and attention to detail that Green Land Mediterranean Restaurant brought to this dessert. The kunafah was clearly crafted with care and passion, and it truly transported me to the heart of Mediterranean culinary traditions.

Customer service was not very impressive. There was only one server in Saturday afternoon shift. I think there should have been at least two servers. She was running around like headless chicken. She didn’t even asked us if we wanted to get any drinks. Later we had to ask her for drinks. Same way did not ask if we wanted any desserts. For some reason their menu does not reflect what they make. Lot of items not in even menu. I have no idea why. I didn’t see lamb shank in the menu but I saw someone had that dish. Food quality was not bad but it was not impressive either. Hummus and falafel was better than other dishes though. Chicken kabab was surprisingly moist but rice was bit oily.

The food here is very authentic and has always lived up to its quality consistently, very very good food, and the people are always nice, highly recommend the daily special lamb shank it is very soft and the bone marrow melts right off. The shawarma is also very good with falafel and garlic sauce.
