Excellent ambience, food, service! Sea bass with black rice was amazing!!! Some of the best rice I've ever had! My husband's steak 🥩 was perfectly done!

We dined here recently we were excited to try it out. We have cocktails at their bar often, we live close by. The appetizer artichoke was cold and bland. The drinks came after the cold appetizer and then our salads and ONE Chilean sea bass arrived all at the same time. We asked for a manager, he/she never showed. Our glasses went empty and not much tastes good when it is cold, and there is no room on the table to even move anything. The waiter was unapologetic and for a fine dining restaurant in a beautiful hotel, it was worse than horrible.! I was really hoping to love it.

First off the service was perfect. Our wait staff was pure perfection. The restaurant was beautiful. And our appetizer was perfect. They also had a tasty non alcoholic beer that I could enjoy.
Unfortunately I cannot give a perfect experience because my steak bites were too tough to eat. They were also lacking flavor.
My wife's burger was also unseasoned and bland.
I do not think I would come back for a second try. With the costs of the meals this really is a one chance deal. I could get an equivalent meal half the price at other places.

Small town tourist takes on Tampa. This really made a good impression. Our waitress Danice was fabulous. I will not forget her and her service.
The food was also excellent. I got the Julian breakfast. There were a lot of staff working very hard. They wasted no time trying to get things to us quickly. Accommodating, and very friendly.
I highly recommend this place to anyone. They also have a kids menu. It’s a hidden, gem if you ask me. And manager, if you are reading this, please put a little extra in everyone’s check. I am very, very happy with my experience here.

Nice, cozy restaurant with amazing food, but 50-50 on service.
Menu is short, but that's always a good sign as it means they really perfect the dishes that's on there. Ordered the short rib empanada for appetizers and it was the bomb! For mains , had steak and Frites, and NY strip. They switched the doneness of our steaks (I wanted medium for my steak and Frites but they did medium rare, while my Fiance's steak was done medium). Even with the mistake, the steaks were great and the sides they came with were amazing.
Best recommendation was the churro and the to die for chocolate hazelnut Gelato it came with. I'd go back to Julian just to have 3 orders of this for myself. Almost skipped dessert but our friendly waitress was very convincing, and I'm glad we took her advice.
The cocktails were great too, much better than the ones we had at the Rox, which is the hotel's rooftop bar.
Service started out amazing coz we were there early. However, when the restaurant filled up, food service got slow and we had to wait 20 mins for our bill coz our waitress forgot about it. She was friendly enough and new her stuff, so we still tipped pretty well.
All in all amazing experience, beautiful views, and delicious food!
