It is truly dissatisfying and upsetting when you think you are walking into an establishment full of people who care about your wellbeing and not just money. I went into Modern Day Smiles Dentistry on June 14, 2024 and paid $100 for a new patient special which includes exam, x-ray and cleaning, I should’ve knew to walk out when the “ Billing specialist” had an attitude and did not act or look professional. I’ve proceeded anyway with paying for what I thought I was getting. I walked into the room, the dental assistant took some pictures of my teeth and then the dentist came in shortly after to tell me what I already knew. Took no longer than 10 minutes. I asked the assistant if I would get my teeth clean, her response was “ probably not” then I mentioned that’s what I paid for and she asked me if I paid $200 and I went to the website where It said new patient special (exam , x-ray , cleaning )$99. The dental assistant said she would get the “manager” who also didn’t act the part of a professional manager. The “ manager” then came inside the room and immediately started talking about payment plans about my tooth getting extracted and she can takeoff money If I decide to do it the same day when I asked about the cleaning, she said no and how she actually helped me with the service when originally the new patient special says exam , x-ray, but I didn’t get any clean so the marketing is obviously trying to rip people off. The front receptionist was a sweetheart, but unfortunately lacked necessary knowledge to make sure I knew what I was paying for because I did mention about my teeth getting clean. What got me upset the most is that a cleaning is not that complicated but people who are money hungry, will make things complicated. Highly unsatisfied. The dentist here is an egomaniac. He would blame me for mistakes. He made his employees all called him doctor, which I found crazy. He’s a dentist not a doctor. One of his employees actually hit me in the tooth with their cleaning tool when he walked in and didn’t even apologize for, she was more concerned about what he had to say like she was scared of getting fired.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in 15 years…everyone has been amazing to me throughout this process. The front desk Melanie and Eileen go out of their way to be nice to me and explain everything about the insurance and financing. My dentist, Dr.Spinosa is really good about making sure you’re comfortable and he’s upfront about what needs to be done and explains everything even when I have hundreds of questions. I did used to be really nervous when I went to the dentist before and I thought it would be the same now but because of the staff, I didn’t experience anxiety or panic attacks. It’s also always clean and I’ve never waited more than five minutes for my appointment. I feel really lucky to have found this dentist office

I recently started experiencing tooth sensitivity and gum issues and have been dreading going to a dentist. I was worried they’d find a ton of cavities and present me with an outrageous bill. I am so glad I picked up the phone and called Modern Day Smiles. The front desk was so patient with me and explained their in-house insurance and all it covers. I came in for the $99 cleaning, checkup and x-rays. I did not feel rushed at all and felt like I got an excellent checkup and consultation and a painless yet thorough cleaning. They reassured me that my tooth issues were not as bad as I had made it out to be in my head and gave me a great game plan. The pricing was completely transparent and I feel like the in-house insurance is a great deal and will ensure that I come back for my next cleaning in 6 months since it is included in the price. I have found my forever-dentist after not having one since I was a kid.

This was my first time to the dentist in a long time and i was extremely nervous. BUT the hygienist, doctor and assistants were so nice and gentle i was completely fine and so happy with my cleaning. Eileen helped me schedule my appointments and went over my treatment plan with me. She was the BEST !
