Oggi occupies the space formerly held by Yeoman’s Road Pub, which was always a treat to go to for many years. Despite years having passed - this was our first time visiting here since the spot changed to the current restaurant.
We sat out on the patio as the temperature was hovering around a comfortable 65 degrees. The entire restaurant was romantically lit with warm lighting, the patio was especially tasteful as restaurants on Davis Islands have a certain outdoor ambiance to them. Admittedly the patio was slightly loud, as it is very narrow - however I don’t think there is anything they can do about given how its size. After one party left, the patio quieted down significantly as they were much more boisterous than the others.
The waitress was handling the packed patio like a pro, she was very kind and checked in on us quite often. We had a reservation and were promptly sat down immediately upon arrival. We parked behind the restaurant, which is open to the restaurant’s patio.
When it comes to the food, I think they bring out free bead to your table - but we ordered the bruschetta appetizer before realizing this. I recommend asking the server if they bring out complimentary bread, something we should have done. Our meal was otherwise perfect in terms of quality, my meal in particular was very special - I got the Pistachio Crusted Cutlet with chicken, it had a wonderful texture and was my first time having pistachio with chicken in this way. It was served on a base of spaghetti noodles, they are my favorite kind of noodle so I may be a little biased towards them. My partner got the Scallops Scampi, which he thoroughly enjoyed (I’m allergic to shellfish so I did not try it).
I paired my meal with Jermann Sauvignon Blanc, my partner with Margherita Pinot Noir. We finished the meal with their Tiramisu - which was larger than anticipated.
We felt that the prices were fair and it ended up less than $100 per person (also the wine was a major chunk of that).
Ultimately, this was an amazing dinner and we will be back.

Before dinner, we had drinks made by Sadie. Phenomenal! I recommend the Lavender Lemon Drop martini. The Florence-stye wine window was such an iconic experience. For dinner, we had the best waiter who recommended excellent choices for us. The fresh mozzarella with berries and pistachios was divine. We ate side Caesar salads before the pastas arrived. Everything was fantastic and fresh. To finish the meal, we had the pineapple with ricota. No complaints. Amazing dinner and experience.

Interesting place. Got there early to order wine from Buchette. They serve it from a window beside Oggi. Super charming. Ordered the sparkling from the house and was delicious. Oggi is a cute place and food was delicious. Got Genovese Pesto Gnocchi and rigatoni Itália. Reserve before go. It was fast and the waiter very helpful and kind. Definitely will go back.

I loved this cute little spot of Italy in Davis island. The Buchette Spritz Bar that is next to Oggi's restaurant was so adorable. The lemon drop I ordered there was great! I loved the food we ordered when we dined in at Oggi's which was the penne pasta, meatballs and lasagna. Their tiramisu was so good! I loved it here.

My husband and I came without a reservation on a Saturday night around 6:30pm. We were not expecting to be accommodated, but by chance and her due diligence the hostess let us know the bar is open seating, and that there were 2 spots open! Our experience was beyond amazing. I am OBSESSED with chicken parm but their dish was beyond anything I have ever had. My husband has a tomato, basil, chicken and penne dish and it was so fresh. After dinner, we stopped by their nearby Italian styled cocktail place and it was just as amazing (the cocktails are all wine based but taste like the real liquor deal). We live in Wesley Chapel and I CANNOT wait to return and try other items.
